Meet Nilesh Singhvi

Nilesh Singhvi is an accomplished chef with 30 years of experience with a passion for cooking his native cuisine—Indian. Chef Singhvi joined Bombay Club in 2006 and been recognized for his exceptional authentic Indian fare.  Under his culinary leadership, The Bombay Club has received national and international recognition. GQ named Bombay Club as one of the “7 Best Indian Restaurants Across The Globe; Bombay Club was named one of Eater’s “38 Essential Washington Restaurants”; the Washingtonian named Bombay Club #10 with 3 stars (out of four) in its list of the “100 Very Best Restaurants”; the restaurant earned a spot on the top 40 in The Washington Post’s “Fall Dining Guide” with three stars (out of four); it made Capitol File’s “Host of DC’s Power Elite”; and Gayot awarded the Bombay Club as Top Ten in Washington for “Most Romantic” and “Best Brunch.”

Prior to moving to Washington, DC in 2006 and joining Knightsbridge Restaurant Group as Bombay Club’s executive chef, Chef Singhvi worked for the Taj Group of Hotels--the leading luxury hotel chain in India--and rose through the ranks to become one of their top executive chefs.  During his career, he worked as executive chef in top five-star hotels in India including Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi, and then at five star hotels in Nashik (Maharashtra), and Goa and Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) where he mastered these regional cuisines and had the opportunity to work with master chefs in Kashmiri, Avadhi and South Indian cuisines. He then became the executive chef at Hotel Yak & Yeti in Kathmandu, Nepal.


Meet Muhammad Nadeem

Muhammad Nadeem manages the day-to-day operations at The Bombay Club where he brings a keen sense of hospitality, professionalism, and a customer oriented attitude. He joined the company as a Restaurant Manager at NoPa Kitchen+Bar in 2013 and was promoted to General Manager at The Oval Room shortly thereafter. Prior to joining Knightsbridge Restaurant Group, he was an Assistant General Manager with the Kimpton Hotel Group for seven years. Nadeem received his degree in Hotel Management from Strayer University in Virginia.


Meet Beycan Atalay

Beycan Atalay oversees various aspects of The Bombay Club operations as well as being the primary contact for private events. He joined The Bombay Club as a server in 2012 and was quickly promoted to Restaurant Manager after showing enthusiasm and aptitude for management responsibilities. Beycan is committed to providing guests with exceptional customer service and providing guests with a memorable dining experience. Prior to The Bombay Club, Beycan was a manager for several restaurants in the Washington, DC area. He received his degree in Business Management from George Mason University.
